The Teen Project

lOlivecrest & The Teen Project Meeting Places Program - The Teen Project Outreach program was created after an assessment of the local drop in centers. The assessment showed that the majority of youth visiting the two county drop in centers lived within 10 miles of the center. Due to a lack of transportation and resources the remaining youth did not have access to these resources. Based on this information, The Teen Project abandoned the 2007 direction of opening another drop in center and decided to reach all youth regardless of location. The Teen Project Outreach program meets youth at various locations throughout the county on a regular basis. The Teen Project Outreach volunteers bring youth:

• Bus Cards
• Food Cards
• Access to over 1000 shelter beds

Boystown, Orange County Social Services, Olivecrest and all shelter programs listed on our website http://www.theteenproject.us/thepad.aspx work together to create a protective community for our youth.
