FYSI PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

• Current OR Former Foster Youth
• Must be under the age of 35
• Complete an FYSI Supplemental Application
• Provide Ward of the Court Documentation letter
• Enrolled in a minimum of 6 units
• Transfer students must not have more than
• 40 degree-applicable units
• Students with an Associate degree or higher are not eligible*

**Student must provide unofficial or official high schools/college/university transcript(s) and Ward of the Court letter to determine FYSI Program eligibility and for the Academic Counselor to properly develop a Student Education Plan (SEP). Please contact the State of CA Ombudsman’s Office at 1-877-846-1602 to receive assistance in obtaining a copy of your Ward of the Court letter.
